Passover Communal Seders – 20 cities in Israel’s Peripheries!

This year, Shaalei Tikvah decided to expand its circle of activities and to host 20 Passover Communal Seders in 20 different, financially challenged neighborhoods in the social peripheries in Israel, along with our usual food drive for Passover.

They were held from Tzfat to Be’er Sheva, in three different neighborhoods in Jerusalem, Mevaseret, Modiin and Migdal Haemek among others. Almost 2000 people enjoyed a beautiful Seder, both spiritually and physically, as well as basic food suffs for Passover, due to your generous donations.

A certain fund graciously offered a matching sponsorship of 50% of the cost of each of the Communal Seders. The fund supported $2000 for each Seder, on the condition that we find matching donations for the other 50%, which we were able to do thanks to you!

Now on to the next project to help others!
