The STN Organization, parent body of Shaalei Tikva, the past several years has been actively promoting North American new Olim to join their Community Seed Communities. These Seed Communities are largely responsible for many of the activities of the Warm Homes throughout the country.

This past Sunday Shlomi Turgeman, Treasurer of Shaalei Tikva, represented STN at the Aliyah Fair hosted by Nefesh B’Nefesh. There were over 1000 potential Olim at the fair, gathering information about Aliyah in general, and potential communities to migrate to. STN has developed a specific program for Olim from North America who wish to immerse themselves in Israeli society, join our Seed Communities, and aid in building Israel’s peripheries. They are warmly welcomed by the other members of the Seed community, and they contribute in great ways to every activity and program the Seed Community embarks upon.

As of today, there are several Seed Communities which boast North American Olim as part of their group; Katzrin, Tzfat, Neve Yaakov (in Jerusalem), and Rehovot (“Kiryat Moshe”). Rahamim Nisimi, the Chairman of STN, foresees that in several years there will be North American Olim in every one of the STN Seed Communities in Israel.
